Root Canal Therapy

A root canal becomes necessary when the soft inner tissue of a tooth—called the pulp—becomes inflamed or infected due to deep decay, cracks, or trauma. This condition can cause persistent tooth pain, sensitivity to temperature, swelling, or discomfort when chewing. Without treatment, the infection can spread and lead to tooth loss or other health complications.

At Rosetta Dental, we perform root canal therapy to save your natural tooth, relieve pain, and restore your oral health—all with your comfort in mind. Thanks to modern techniques and gentle care, the procedure is often no more uncomfortable than getting a filling.

What to Expect During Your Visit

Comfortable, Efficient, and Designed to Protect Your Tooth

Your root canal begins with digital imaging and a thorough exam to assess the damage. We then numb the area to keep you comfortable throughout the procedure. The infected pulp is gently removed, and the inside of the tooth is cleaned, disinfected, and sealed. In many cases, a custom dental crown is placed afterward to strengthen and protect the tooth.

Most patients return to normal activities the same day, and any post-procedure discomfort is typically mild and temporary. Our team will guide you through aftercare instructions and follow-up steps to ensure a smooth recovery.
